VISIT FROM IKU TTO TO ÖZEN&LAW

IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Technology Transfer and Public-University-Industry Cooperation Specialist Yasin Şahin visited Özen&Law law office on Friday, July 22, 2022. At the meeting, ideas about cooperation and opportunities in various fields, especially in law, were talked and evaluated.

IKU TTO REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDED THE INNOVATION WORKSHOP

IKU TTO representatives, University Industry Cooperation Centers Platform (ÜSİMP) President Prof. Dr. A. Hamit Özgür attended the Innovation Workshop given by RTTP to business representatives. Marmara University hosted the workshop on Tuesday, July 26, under the Innovative Production and Added Value Platform (Spring-Load Platform), supported by the Istanbul Development Agency who is one of the partners of IKU TTO.

A VISIT TO IKU TTO FROM CEO OF FONKOLAY DR. YAVUZ SELİM SILAY

CEO of the crowdfunding platform Fonkolay and World Bank E. Advisor Dr. Yavuz Selim Sılay visited IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) on Tuesday, July 5th. Dr. Sılay explained how the platform, which aims to support entrepreneurs in capital, will also support the opening of start-ups to Borsa Istanbul and Nasdaq. In order to bring together academic stakeholders in need of the ecosystem, collaboration opportunities were also evaluated with Yavuz Selim Sılay, who is also a member of the Rutgers University Advisory Board.

IKU TTO REPRESENTATIVES AND PROF. DR. NİHAL SARIER GATHERED

IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) representatives and one of the IKU Faculty of Engineering lecturers Prof. Dr. Nihal Sarıer met at the Chemistry Laboratory. At the meeting held on Friday, July 1, project ideas that can be developed in thematic areas related to chemistry and collaborations within the scope of industry R&D consultancy were evaluated.

Dr. Süleyman Hikmet Çağlar and Technology Transfer and Public-University-Industry Cooperation Specialist Yasin Şahin had a meeting with Head of Department of IKU Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Prof. Dr. Rana Kutlu and Deputy Head of Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Assist. Prof. Dr. Arzu Erçetin.

COLLABORATION STUDIES IN SİNOP BY IKU TTO

IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Technology Transfer and Public-University-Industry Cooperation Specialist Yasin Şahin went to Sinop on 27-28 June to visit Sinop Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sinop University Technology Transfer Office, Scientific and Technological Research Application and Research Center and Natural Products Application and Research Center. However, due to the closure of the roads in the province, which was given a red code warning by the General Directorate of Meteorology, meetings with Sinop University were held online.

IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Technology Transfer and Public-University-Industry Collaboration Specialist Yasin Şahin, participated in the “3rd Building Entrepreneurship Forum” by Bina organized by Business Incubator whose shareholders include Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Qatar Development Fund, Spark, YTU Yıldız Technopark, İsDB and LPDR.

IKU TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OFFICE (TTO) REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDED "UNDERSTANDING OF SMALL BUSINESS FOR SUSTAINABLE COOPERATION AND INNOVATION AND ROLE OF UNIVERSITIES" PANEL

Representatives of IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) participated in the panel titled "Understanding of Small Business for Sustainable Cooperation and Innovation and Role of Universities" organized online on Thursday, June 23 under the Innovative Production and Added Value (YAY-YÜKA Platform) in partnership with the Istanbul Development Agency. At the event, where perspectives and agreeable practices in international ecosystems in technology transfer were conveyed, the participants were informed on how to adapt these experiences to their local ecosystem.
