Technology and Project Support Unit Executive Secretary & Scientific Research Projects Coordinator Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız held an informative meeting titled “Scientific Research Projects and Graduate Thesis Projects” for the faculty of the School of Economics and Administrative Sciences on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 13.00 at the Basın Express campus. In the meeting, information was given about the application and evaluation processes of the projects, and the different aspects to be taken into account in the writing of the project.

On the last day of the WIN EURASIA fair, in which IKU Asimov Technology Club took part and Alparslan Güzey, Deputy Director of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) consulted, our Rector visited the stand of our students. Our teams are pursuing to work to advance the technologies that appeal to various branches of industry, especially to the defense industry.

Authorities of Istanbul Kültür University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) who participated in the “10th SMEs and Productivity Congress” which was held in Ataköy Campus’ Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall between 9-10 June in cooperation with IKU Department of Business Administration with the theme of “Opportunities Offered by the Pandemic to SMEs” established contact with panelists and participants for various business associations.

Authorities of Istanbul Kültür University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) participated in the “Innovation Report Card Training” held by YAY YUKA PLATFORM, which is one of its partners, for business representative candidates.  Within the scope of the training, information was given about applications such as the accurate interpretation of the innovation report card, identifying the weaknesses and strengths of companies and reporting methods.

IKU Asimov Technology Club took part in the WIN EURASIA Exposition, the main theme of which was "Industrial 5G", and conveyed examples of how technological collaborations can be developed to the fair participants. Our representatives, who visited the stands for new collaborations, evaluated common opportunities.

Istanbul Kültür University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) officials met with Department of Civil Engineering member Prof. Dr. Nihal Sarıer. At the meeting, where ideas were exchanged on nanotechnology, biotechnology and material projects, cooperation opportunities were evaluated. After the meeting, the Materials Laboratory was visited and information was obtained about the existing devices and equipment.

Industry Research and Development Consultancy Service Agreement was signed between IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Next4Biz Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. The cooperation protocol signed at our Ataköy campus on Friday, June 3 was attended by Our Rector, Head of Department of Computer Engineering Assoc. Dr. Akhan Akbulut, Technology Transfer Office Manager Assist. Prof. Dr. Süleyman Hikmet Çağlar and TTO personnel and Next4Biz Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. officials.

Istanbul Kültür University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) officials and Institute of Graduate Studies manager Prof. Dr. Remzi Tunç Mısıroğlu came together. At the meeting; the issue of university-industry cooperation was discussed in line with the aim of increasing the global competitiveness of researchers by expanding the educational services offered by our university to the society through graduate and doctoral programs.

İstanbul Kültür University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Compass Software, Hardware and Consulting Services Ltd. Company officials met on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Possible collaborations were discussed at the meeting held in the TTO office in our Ataköy campus.

An application development project for virtual parcels on the metaverse universe which is https://decentraland.org/ was signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) and OXS Informatics Limited Company/CINOXS operating in the field of blockchain technologies.
