An event titled "The Sector Coming to Campus: Sharing Experiences Seminar" was held on Tuesday, December 26, coordinated by IKU Technology Transfer Office, hosted by the Faculty of Art and Design and supported by Digital Panorama (https://digitalpanorama.com.tr/).  The event held at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus, was attended by Kaan Azov (Head of Still Image), Zehra Güvenç (Art Director) and Teberdar Gürbey (Lead 3D Modeling Production) from Digital Panoram

An Industry R&D Consultancy Service Agreement was signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Güneş Ra Enerji Sistemleri A.Ş. on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Under the contract signed by our Assignee Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, consultancy services to Solarra will be provided by our Department of Civil Engineering Vice President Assist. Prof. Edip Seçkin.

Technology Transfer Office companies and Design Factory entrepreneurs came together at the breakfast event on August 25, 2023. At the event held at the Design Factory in our Ataköy campus, ideas were exchanged between entrepreneurs and companies following the presentation of the Technology Transfer Office.

Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Deputy Director Alparslan Güzey presented the areas where IKU will contribute to potential consortiums in the field of health, within the scope of the "Horizon Europe Health Cluster National Project Market" event organized by Istanbul Project Academy on September 5, 2023.

In the process of global competition, the socio-economic development and growth of countries are measured not only by their physical resources, but also by their ability to produce technology-based, high value-added and qualified products/services, to use them effectively, and to export the technologies they produce. The diffusion of knowledge, technology or innovative ideas from developed countries to others or from establishments to establishments occurs through technology transfer.

An event titled "Patent and Commercialization Awareness Training" was organized by Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office on Thursday, July 20.  The training event, whose opening speech was made by IKU Acting Rector Prof.  Dr.  Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, was attended by Erdem Kaya Patent Firm Commercialization Manager Nur Yağcı Alan and Digitalpark Teknokent Digital TTO Manager Ahmet Rıza Balım.  The training, in which patent and commercialization processes were discussed in depth, was received highly the attendees.

The second focus group meeting of the "Browse Your Education" project was held on Wednesday, May 31, in cooperation with Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office, Kalben Association and CORBIZ. Assoc. Prof. Nurhan Yel, from the Department of New Media and Communication, and Seda Genç and Nilsu Öz from CORBIZ attended the event as speakers. In the meeting, the details of the project were conveyed in detail.

A seminar titled “Erasmus Opportunities: Corporate Partnership Projects" was organized at IKU Design Factory on Wednesday, May 31, by Technology Transfer Office. In the event, in which Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız took part, Founder of CorbizTR Corporate Business Solutions Enes Övünç participated as a speaker.

Dosetex R&D Certification Consultancy and Education Industry and Trade Ltd. Co. visited IKU Technology Transfer Office to work on various collaborations. During the visit held on Wednesday, April 12, views were exchanged on sensor systems and textiles for university-industry cooperation.
