The second focus group meeting of the "Browse Your Education" project was held on Wednesday, May 31, in cooperation with Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office, Kalben Association and CORBIZ. Assoc. Prof. Nurhan Yel, from the Department of New Media and Communication, and Seda Genç and Nilsu Öz from CORBIZ attended the event as speakers. In the meeting, the details of the project were conveyed in detail.

A seminar titled “Erasmus Opportunities: Corporate Partnership Projects" was organized at IKU Design Factory on Wednesday, May 31, by Technology Transfer Office. In the event, in which Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız took part, Founder of CorbizTR Corporate Business Solutions Enes Övünç participated as a speaker.

Dosetex R&D Certification Consultancy and Education Industry and Trade Ltd. Co. visited IKU Technology Transfer Office to work on various collaborations. During the visit held on Wednesday, April 12, views were exchanged on sensor systems and textiles for university-industry cooperation.

In cooperation with IKU Technology Transfer Office (TTO), IKU Faculty of Art and Design and IKU Design Factory, project idea workshops were held on Friday, April 14, within the scope of "UNESCO Global Diversity International Fund".

A focus group meeting for Browse Your Education, Culturally Diverse Humanly United and Connect projects was held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, in cooperation with IKU Technology Transfer Office and KALBEN association. At the meeting, Assit. Prof. Ayşin Şişman from Istanbul Gedik University, The President of Global Equality and Inclusion Network Association Ayşe Kaşıkırık, Haliç University Project and Education Coordinator Cansu Coşan and CorBiz Founder Enes Övünç had an informative discussion.

Industry R&D Consultancy Service Agreement was signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and NTT DATA Business Solutions Bilgi Sistemleri A.Ş. on Tuesday, February 22. Within the scope of the contract signed by our Assignee Rector Assist. Prof. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, consultancy services to the company will be provided by our Department of Industrial Engineering Vice President Assist Prof. İlayda Ülkü.

A cooperation protocol was signed on Thursday, February 2, 2023 between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and the Youth Raised under Care and Foster Family Association (KALBEN). As a part of the protocol signed by Our Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, the two institutions will carry out joint social projects for young people brought up under the care.

The first meeting of the TÜBİTAK ARDEB 3005 Innovative Solutions in Social and Human Sciences Research Project, titled “A Mobile Application Generating Alternative Tourism Routes Based on Artificial Intelligence Routing Algorithms: The Case of Amasya”, which is carried out by Prof. Dr. Emel Birer from the IKU Department of Architecture, and whose researchers are,  IKU Deputy Director of Technology Transfer Office Alparslan Güzey, from Yeditepe University Assist. Prof. Pınar Çalışır Adem, from Marmara University Assist. Prof.

ATAM Robotics and Software Technologies, one of the companies of IKU Technology Transfer Office, has been selected for the EIT Urban Mobility Investment Readiness Accelerator (IRA) program.

The EIT UM Investment Readiness Accelerator (EIT UM IRA) is an accelerator program targeting innovative companies that are in the process of raising funds in urban mobility areas or aiming to do so by the end of 2024.

A cooperation protocol was signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Tunç Tesisat Mühendislik ve Mimarlık Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. on Monday, January 16, 2023. Within the scope of the protocol signed by our Rector, our Department of Civil Engineering Vice President Assist. Prof. Edip Seçkin will develop projects in the field of steel and reinforced concrete structures.
