A NEW SUCCESS HAS BEEN ADDED TO ISTANBUL KÜLTÜR UNIVERSITY'S INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Within the scope of the WIDERA ERA CHAIRS call for Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area within the framework of the Horizon Europe Framework Program (HORIZON), Istanbul Kültür University's project named "Spectroscopy-at-IKU" was entitled to be the first project supported in our country.

PROF. DR. BİRSEN TÜTÜNİŞ'S PROJECT QUALIFIED FOR SUPPORT

Within the scope of TUBITAK 4005 Innovative Educational Practices Support Program, which aims to provide teachers and academicians with innovative approaches, strategies, methods and techniques specific to their own branches and the teaching profession in general, 45 projects were entitled to receive support. “Integration of Artificial Intelligence Technology Tools into Secondary English Language Teaching” project of Prof. Dr. Birsen Tütüniş, from IKU Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Languages Education, was among the projects that were entitled to be supported.

BOOSTALENT ENTREPRENEUR CAMP

Within the scope of the EIT HEI BoosTalent project, of which Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Technology Transfer Office is the project partner, the hybrid "BoosTalent Entrepreneur Camp" was organized between 23-25 April. The cities of Varna, Tromso, Istanbul, Burgenland and Kiev participated in the BoosTalent Entrepreneur Camp, which opened the startup world to students and young scientists.

PROTOCOL SIGNED BETWEEN IKU AND KINNAIRD COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

A visit was paid to IKU, by Rector of Kinnaird College for Women, Pakistan's first incubation center specifically for women, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana David, Vice-Chancellor and Head of Research Operations Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yaqub and their team, coordinated by Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Technology Transfer Office Inc., to help initiate exciting opportunities by encouraging innovation, entrepreneurship and academic exchange between the two institutions, on Thursday, April 25.

ISTANBUL KÜLTÜR UNIVERSITY (IKU) TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OFFICE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) held the Board of Directors and Advisory Board meeting on Thursday, February 29, in order to increase the institution's technology transfer initiatives and create new strategies. As a result of the meeting, the development of innovative products and encouraging sector partnerships were re-emphasized.

“ADVANCED MATERIAL CHARACTERIZATION TRAINING TO BE USED WITHIN THE SCOPE OF R&D STUDIES”

"Advanced Material Characterization Training to be Used within the Scope of R&D Studies", conducted by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız and carried out under the coordination of Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Technology Transfer Office (TTO), was held between 10-12 January. 90 students from all over Türkiye applied to the 3-day training of the project, which was entitled to be supported within the scope of "TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Activities Support Program", and 20 people were selected among the applicants.

“PROJECT CYCLE MANAGEMENT” (PCM) TRAINING

Within the framework of the "Social Contribution Policy" vision, Istanbul Kültür University aims to increase the university's scientific and technological research competence and social contribution in line with social responsibility awareness with all its units. The first of the main goals pursued to realize the core values ​​on which our university's social contribution policy is to carry out joint work with NGOs to support the institutional development of organizations.

ACADEMIC COOPERATION PROTOCOL BETWEEN İKÜ-HAM AND ARELMED-I

After the mutual visits and meetings held under the coordination of Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Technology Transfer Office (TTO), a cooperation protocol was signed between Istanbul Kültür University Motion Analysis Application and Evaluation, Application and Research Centre (İKÜ-HAM) and Istanbul Arel University Medical, Software Artificial Intelligence Application and Research Centre (AREL MED-I) to develop joint research and projects.
