An event titled “TÜBİTAK-2209: The First Step on the Research Journey” was hosted by Istanbul Kültür University on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. During the event, important information on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was shared, along with details about the TÜBİTAK 2209-A and 2209-B projects.

Within the scope of the WIDERA ERA CHAIRS call for Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area within the framework of the Horizon Europe Framework Program (HORIZON), Istanbul Kültür University's project named "Spectroscopy-at-IKU" was entitled to be the first project supported in our country.

Within the scope of TUBITAK 4005 Innovative Educational Practices Support Program, which aims to provide teachers and academicians with innovative approaches, strategies, methods and techniques specific to their own branches and the teaching profession in general, 45 projects were entitled to receive support. “Integration of Artificial Intelligence Technology Tools into Secondary English Language Teaching” project of Prof. Dr. Birsen Tütüniş, from IKU Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Languages Education, was among the projects that were entitled to be supported.
