LIFT UP PROGRAM APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

The LIFT UP Program, run by TAI, is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 period! This program provides senior undergraduate students the opportunity to work on industry-oriented graduation projects in TAI's fields of activity. With guidance from TAI's expert engineers and academic advisors, participants can contribute to significant projects in aviation and space, with support of up to 30,000 TL.

PROF. DR. TURGUT UZEL WAS ELECTED TO THE “EDITORIAL COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP” OF THE JOURNAL OF EARTH SCIENCES

Prof. Dr. Turgut Uzel from the Department of Civil Engineering has accepted the invitation of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Earth Sciences (e-ISSN: 2328-5982), an international journal registered with CSI, and has been elected as a member of the “Editorial Committee” due to the profound impact of his scientific article titled “Tectonic Movements in Lands Surrounded by Faults Are Different from Their Surroundings,” published in Geomatic. We wish our esteemed professor success in this important role.

THE SUPPORT CONTRACT FOR OUR “SPECTROSCOPY@IKU” PROJECT WAS SIGNED!

Our "Spectroscopy@IKU" project, under the European Horizon Framework Program (HORIZON), has received support in the ERA CHAIRS call. As of Wednesday, October 2, 2024, our Vice Rector and ERA Chair Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız, completed the e-signature process for the contract, along with ERA Chairperson Prof. Dr. Rui Fausto, and our TTO Manager & Project Manager, Cüneyt Genç.

The next phase of the project, a 5-year implementation process starting on January 1, 2025, has already been begun.
