The first meeting of the TÜBİTAK ARDEB 3005 Innovative Solutions in Social and Human Sciences Research Project, titled “A Mobile Application Generating Alternative Tourism Routes Based on Artificial Intelligence Routing Algorithms: The Case of Amasya”, which is carried out by Prof. Dr. Emel Birer from the IKU Department of Architecture, and whose researchers are, IKU Deputy Director of Technology Transfer Office Alparslan Güzey, from Yeditepe University Assist. Prof. Pınar Çalışır Adem, from Marmara University Assist. Prof. Gözde Karataş Baydoğmuş, from Amasya University Faculty of Architecture Assist. Prof. Bige Şimşek İlhan and Res. Assist. Deniz Özge Aytaç, was held on Thursday, January 26, at IKU Technology Transfer Office.
The project team aims to increase the tourism potential of Amasya city centre with the mobile application to be created based on various urban analyses. With their project, they aim to create a product that brings value to Turkey.
