"Advanced Material Characterization Training to be Used within the Scope of R&D Studies", conducted by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız and carried out under the coordination of Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Technology Transfer Office (TTO), was held between 10-12 January. 90 students from all over Türkiye applied to the 3-day training of the project, which was entitled to be supported within the scope of "TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Activities Support Program", and 20 people were selected among the applicants.

In the training, Prof Dr. Sevim Akyüz, Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız, Prof. Dr. Namık Aysal, Dr. Merve Durmuş, Dr. Fatma Şişman Tükel, Specialist Ersin Kaygısız, Specialist Fulya Uzun and Specialist Taki Sönmez served as instructors. A lot of positive feedback was received for the training, which was very productive and explained spectroscopic methods and their applications. As a result of these positive feedback, it is planned to provide a course titled "Advanced Material Characterization Training to be Used within the Scope of R&D Studies-II" for the next semester.
